Our name draws from the Empty Quarter — a place of extremes, endurance and elemental transformation. In the heart of the Arabian Peninsula, endless sand becomes silicon, and silicon becomes intelligence.

How we’re built
EQ Semi pairs the lean, capital-light model of a fabless design house with something rare — our own PCB manufacturing and testing in Riyadh. Full hardware control, from architecture to validated module.
Chip design in-house; fabrication outsourced to TSMC — capital invested in talent and IP, not factories.
In-house board production in Saudi Arabia for complete board-level control and fast iteration.
Chip and board validation labs in Riyadh — quality verified before every delivery.
Flagship silicon
First tapeout · 2026
An analog sensor SoC with an embedded RISC-V processor, built for smart sensing of temperature, humidity and voltage. EQ Semi is completing this first silicon tapeout in 2026 — the milestone that takes a design from verified RTL to a physical chip.
Second tapeout · in progress
An AI edge processor now in design. It runs lightweight vision networks directly on a camera feed, enabling real-time detection for traffic monitoring, drones and industrial inspection.
